A four-bench workshop in Guadalajara that buys parota and mesquite from ejidos in Jalisco and Colima and builds to order. Nothing is veneered and nothing is stapled. A dining table takes eleven weeks, and the workshop will tell you that before it takes a deposit, not after.

The work is excellent. Shipping a solid parota table to the US is genuinely expensive and they were upfront about it, but budget for it before you fall in love with the table.
